Blast Shield is awesome!!!

Not sure if this is the right pace to post this, but I want to tell everyone how awesome Blast Shield is. I spent a lot of time melting boro last year and I noticed my skin was suffering for it. Kind of dried out and torch burned cheeks and all. When I saw the blast shield I knew I needed it. Well, like the glass addict I am, I sold some tools and ordered my blast shield for my delta elite just last week. My questions were answered immediately and within 3 business days my shield was sent out and arrived in 2 days. So it arrived exactly one week after ordering. I got to try it yesterday and it was awesome!!! Totally kept the heat off!! I can see it will take a little getting used to like any other new tool, but I'm psyched! It also has a marver which I haven't had on my torch in I can't remember how many years so that will take some time to remember to use.

I've only had mine for a short time, but love it! It really blocks the heat. I began to develop rosacea and my skin would really react to the heat of the torch.

I too have to remember I now have a marver on the torch, having never had one before!

Customer service was quick, efficient, and friendly--great buying experience. And the shield fits perfectly on my Carlisle Mini CC. Assembly would have been a breeze if the nut on my torch hadn't been on so tight but that had nothing to do with the shield.

The only little, tiny negative thing I could say about it is that it's a bit blurry. But I could probably work on better lighting to help too! This little negative is nothing compared to the savings on my face.

I would highly recommend a Blast Shield!!!!!!

I love my blast shields, have them on my CC and PM2D, couldn't work without them. Great build quality and excellent customer service. Might have to get a blast sheild for the lathe as well.
