Sheri - great looking beads, really a nice assortment of colors and styles. One thing I looked for in the listings but didn't see was the size of the beads.

You do lovely work Sheri. I do agree with Patty though, sizes are essential to the listing. For one thing, it heads off the "I want to return this because it's too big/small" issue.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby you can buy a digital caliper for around $10 and it makes it SO easy to measure as you list, that's how I do all mine.

Lovely beads. I also noticed "returns not accepted" on all your listings. Perhaps this might make the buyer afraid to bid? Offering a refund if the Customer is not pleased is always a good way to show that you stand behind your work.
Just a suggestion.

To everyone who looked and commented, my deepest thanks!

I didn't realize I had the no returns turned on.......drats!

What is the best way to measure them--inches or millimeters??

Since I will obviously be relisting them soon (!), I will make the changes--any other ideas or suggestions are humbly received!!

Sheri - most of the beads I see listed give measurements in millimeters. You may also want say what size mandrel they were made on as well, or what the hole size is, as that matters to jewelry makers.

Sheri, your beads are really nice.

I would like to see more than one picture...or... I'd like to see a pic of the bead either in hand or with a ruler as a size reference. In general I dislike pics using a mirror as a back ground because they can be confusing...where does the bead end and the reflection begin.

What Patty said. In mm and put your core size down, like "hand wound on 3/32 mandrels" or some such.

They look great! Remember, it takes about 30 days of CONSISTENT listing to get a following on eBay so you may have to relist them a few times before you get some bites. You have to eat the cost initially but it will pick up.

My next listing will include all of your great ideas--I need to sell these babies if I have any hope of going to the Seattle ISGB Gathering in July--my dream goal.

Naos--thanks for your kind words also--I see your beads on Ebay and they are so beautiful! Ohhhhh, I want to torch now!!
