Default Any DH Pysche tips?

Anyone have any DH Pysche tips for getting a good reduction?
I can get great reductions on all the other DH colors without
any trouble. DH Triton is just so easy to reduce & does come
out a simular reduced metalic blue as DH Pysche. But I have such
a difficult time getting DH Pysche is reduce around the whole
bead, & the beads aren't big in size. When I have cooled the
bead & enter the reducing flame to reduce it, the first area on
the bead that enters the flame's tip reduces beautifully, but I
can't get the rest of the bead to reduce. So I end up with a
bead with only the one area a lovely metalic blue.
PLEASE HELP

Dance your bead around in the reduction flame rather than putting it full in. Psyche reduces so easily that it is easy to over-reduce it and get green gunk.

Also use a soft reduction flame, not a big dragon's breath one. Waft your bead through it at different angles so all of it gets a quick pass through the flame. See if that helps.

Psyche is the only dh reduction I can get reduction out of. I agree, waive it in the end of the reduction flame, and use a soft flame. The more you put it in the reduction flame, the harder/goldish greenish the reduction will be.

It's easy to burn it out after you get it too so don't over heat after you get that pretty pretty shine!

sorry to drag up an old thread but I am looking for tips on getting colours other than silver blue when reducing. How do you get the oilslick colours? does it like to be reduced hot or cool? propane up or oxy down? multiple passes? used up most of my shards trying different things and got nada.

I get the oil slick type colors when I reduce it hot. I've also gotten it running the bead thru a couple times, removing the reduction inbetween passes (be careful - when I'm not I over reduce it this way).
