Default Effetre 272 I don't think so

I recently moved and got a new storage system for my glass. This rod was in with the Effetre 272 but it obviously isn't as it devits like mad. When heated enough, it almost turns transparent. On the rod, you can see the white devitrification and the bead on the left is a bit bubbly. Any ideas?

One of the Lauscha pinks?? They turn transparent and then opacify in the kiln if left in long enough. But maybe that's not it, because I'm not so sure that those colors devit. Could it be an ASK color, or a Reichenbach cane?

Nope as I haven't ordered either of those. This looks just like 272 in rod form.

Here is a photo of the cut end. If I got off my lazy ass and went out to the garage, I could take a photo of it with the other 272 glass. In rod form, they look identical.

Too bad if it's the only rod like that you have. By the time you figure out what it is it will be all gone and Murphy's Law says that's when someone will post in the Garage that they desperately need that exact color and will pay ANYTHING for some of it to finish a project they have have been commissioned to make.....LOL. I hope that you will find someone to solve your mystery. Please tell us what it is if you find an answer, it's a very nice color.

Looks exactly like that stuff that I once got when I ordered EDP.
Check out my picture:

Never found out if it was mis-labeled or a different batch of EDP.

Yep, I'm going to go with this answered. I have a weird batch of EDP and this rod, which is very purple in color, got misplaced into my 272. Now that I know this, I can love it.

I was gonna say EDP. I got some that went transparent on me when used thinly over super clear.

It looks like EDP to me. Remember that EDP has appeared in several iterations just like Rubino and a number of other colors - far from consistent. If it matters to you, older EDP is also a lead glass, haven't checked a new batch lately.
