Smile mandrel size for 18g-20g sterling

I have a customer who wants me to make beads that will fit either 18 or 20g silver. What size of mandrel shoukd I use???

If you add a little for the bead release you can probably get away with a 1/16 for both. You won't find an absolutely perfect fit but this should get you close.

Yes...what Robert said, 1/16" will leave plenty of room.

Double dip your bead release and the 1/16" mandrel should do fine.
