Default Cleaning the shiny part of the torch

Is there anything they make or anything they use that won't hurt the torch chrome parts that will remove the slight discoloration that builds up around the end of the torch barrel. I once had a marver on my torch and from the end of where the marver was to the tip of the torch it is darker. They provide cleaning wires for the ports which is more important but asthetically I would like my torch to have that shiny chrome look again. I have a GTT Delta Elite if that matters.

Thanks,
T

try some metal polish....Mother's makes good stuff (red bottle)...i used to use that on motorcycle exhaust systems to get rid of the "multicolor" from all the heat.

I use the cleaning brush that came with the torch. I wouldn't use any cleaners until you consult with the manufacturer of the torch. Sounds like its just honest wear?

You NEVER want anything with oil in it (like metal polish) near compressed
high purity Oxygen. It can, and will, spontaneously explode.

To remove the heat discoloration on your GTT, you can use a paper towel
with a very small amount of vinegar, if that does not remove enough then
try a paper towel with club soda after the vinegar.
