How much do you charge for combined shipping?
I've never had multiple item winners and I was just courious how much you charge for each additional item...
Thanks for the info!

Usually - if a person has won multiple auctions or BIN from me I just charge what I would have charged to ship one bead set. I charge $3.00 and that includes insured first class mail, DC, packed in a box in a padded envelope. My actual postage cost for that used to be around $2.86 but with the rate change this year it is now around $3.06.
Adding more beads usually does not really impact the total as far as weight - it does impact the insurance charge. But I feel that customer goodwill is more important and if they are supporting me by buying several of my bead sets at once I really do not mind the extra couple of dollars it might cost me to ship them

Ditto...no extra charge since it doesn't cost me any more to ship more than one item so it doesn't make sense for me to charge more to ship more than one item. I realize it's more packing materials and more time spent packing, but it's so minimal it's not worth juggling all kinds of add on fees.

I charge $2.50 for first class d/c, and have found out that I can put 3 sets in the bubble mailer, and that's still under $2.50 for actual shipping. Insurance is optional for me, at this point. Two sets cost the same as one set, but the third did increase the weight so that it cost more.

I don't charge any extra either. Sometimes if they won 3 or more within a few days and bid really well I give them free shipping and throw in a few extra beads if I have them. Sometimes they come back, sometimes not.

Additional items ship free with me too. I charge $2 for first class w/ DC, in cotton filled box, in organza bag and that's in a bubble mailer. I don't make anything on shipping, but I do have multiple item winners all the time. It's all good, buy as many as you want. Make me lose big on the shipping cost, I couldn't be happier.

I always charge actual cost. That way no one can say I tried to burn them on the shipping. And it's no hardship for me to toss the extra beads into the box (glad to do it!).

As a buyer, I find it rather irritating when a seller states that additional items are $x more (each) to ship. I KNOW it doesn't cost them 50 cents or $1 more to ship the additional item, so I KNOW they're gouging on the shipping. Now for large items, I can understand adding more for shipping, since weight will drive up the actual shipping costs. And I honestly don't mind if a seller charges a small amount over actual shipping - tape and bubble wrap cost money too.

Barb- that's a great point to read- I based my prices on the beads I had bought from other people when I checked their policies- but as Im reading this, mine are higher than most here and I have the .50 incremental- may be time to re-evaluate!

First class shipping with delivery confirmation is $2.00 for the first item and $1 for each additional items won/bought, BUT the max is $5.
A 15 bead set of boro beads weighs atleast 4 ounces sometimes 5 ounces with a bubble mailer. So I am not gouging anyone with charging $1 more for another set of beads, sometimes it doesn't cover the postage let alone any packing materials or paper. That just gets chalked up to the cost of doing business.

I charge the same for up to three sets, then additionall for the next three, etc. Not that anyone has ever won more than 4 sets at a time!
