Question Favorites Icon? How?

Does anyone know how to add a custom icon so that when people save you to their favorites the icon will show to the left when browsing favorites instead of say the internet explorer icon? Hope I'm making sense here. I noticed that when I saved Lampwork Etc. to my favorites recently, they had a red LWE show up. I want to try to do that for my site.
Thanks.
Monica

Hi Monica,

Those are called 'favicons'. Here's a page that give some info with links to create your own.

Hi Ellen, Which program did you choose? Did you find this to be a simple process. I don't seem to be having luck so far.
Any hints?
Thanks.
Monica

Well, technically, I drew my icon and then DH turned it into the favicon using one of the links above. I would ask him, but he's asleep right now. I'll check with him in the morning and get back to you.

Hi Ellen, Thanks for the reply. I just figured it out and I'm off to bed with a smile and sense of accomplishment. I ended up using the UK one and drew an abstract bear paw for our logo icon. I think you'll be able to see it if you go to our site. There is a link below if you want to see it. Fun!
