Cattwalk puffy pillow and button (spree) are my favorites. Zooziis also makes a spree (straight sided lentil) press and I love the nugget press from there.

I recently purchased Zooziis straight sided lentil trio, and the nugget trio. I am very new at this, and so I try for the middle size in the trio, and if I don't hav enough glass then it goes in the smaller one, and if too much glass, then it goes in the larger press - works for me!

I find that I keep reaching for my Zoozii presses and not the Cattwalk ones coz I don't want to deal with switching out the base!

Zoozii's Nugget Trio and Spree Trio got my vote!

I really like Zoozii's presses. I've used the spree trio and nugget trio and LOVED them both. I think I'm going to get them both soon.

I'm a Zoozii's press fan, too....have a ton in my cabinet and more on my bench.....all of them are great....love the pin/hole alignment and mandrel channel.....all presses take a tad of work figuring out how to load the gather and the temp to achieve before pressing....but in the end, you'll learn to use which ever you purchase......

Zoozii's straight sided lentil (spree) and nugget are both user friendly, however, every press has a slight learning curve if you have not used them. I would suggest you choose the shape that appeals to you most. If it is one you really want to make, you will learn to use it.

I really like Cattwalk's dual crunch, also the special anniversary lentil. I want to get one of the starbursts and maybe the button and maybe a bigger crunch and maybe, maybe, maybe....

Zooziis straight sided lentil and nugget are awesome!! I also love the tab and the crystal.

I would avoid the pillow if you are just starting out with presses.

A friend let me try a few of her presses, Cattwalk and Zoozii, and I must say I like the Zoozii nugget the best. It's easiest to line up when I have my shaded faceshield on and am working boro. The guides are fantastic, and I really like the design and quality of them. Also that they don't require bases. Whenever she needs it back, I'm gonna buy me one! (she's kind and lending it to me in the mean time) Other than that I think the lentil trio is awesome.

I agree with the not wanting to switch out the base, but I leave my catwalk Lentil trio in the base all the time. It's my favorite and is super easy once you get the hang of it. I love the Zoozii nugget and crystal too.

I think both the Zoozii and the Cattwalk tools are fantastic. My favorite shapes are the lentil, button/SSL, nugget/sleek pillow, and the Cattwalk puffy pillow. I also love the crystal press from Zoozii but I can't seem to sell them very well.

I Love my Zooiis and the lentil trio is one that woudl have to be pried out of my dead dying hands to get it away from me. I have to force myself to make other shapes cause I just love the lentil shape. I also like the kalera, too and just got (picked them up at the po this very morning) a cone drop, val cox marver and a lg pillow (sent it in to make the mandrel hole larger for me, THANK YOU AMY!) Cant wait to try them tonight. Now if I can just get off this puter and get a few hours sleep first....prob not since my car died yesterday and got the news that the engine is shot so am stressing out about looking for a new used van.......... BUT I get to play with new tools tonight..... You will love the lentil. Just be sure to leave your footprint a little shorter than the width of your size your going for so when you press it will round out and give you nice holes. Also "press" a blank dipped mandrel to be sure you are using the right size for your press. If you press it all the way and it smashes the bead release (I like to be able to fit thepress all the way back down) you need to use a smaller mandrel or you will get release all over your bead. Good Luck!!
