Question for vendors
Do you accept paypal payments from an unconfirmed address?
I do as long as the person has feedback but I denied a payment today from someone that no confirmed address and not one feedback on paypal. They've had the account for one month but no transaction history at all. Did I do the right thing?
I feel bad but I also want to be protected as well as the buyer.
Thanks for the input.

I ship to any and all, but I let them know I am not responsible shipping to their address if unconfirmed. Remember, paypal is very new to many people. You may miss on a wonderful customer. And since the usps seems lately to love to not deliver or to misdeliver, I am having to add to my site, that if insurance is not purchased I am not responsible for items not received. It so sucks but i cant resend things anymore.

Until I get around to driving down to the bank on a weekday during business hours & changing my address *there* & then doing the whole "reconfirm" thing--my addy is *wrong* with paypal---so I'm having to ask folks to either ship to an address I put in the "notes" section, or wait longer for stuff that gets caught in my forwarding order ('cause my banking info is still linked to my old addy!)
As far as shipping to unconfirmed addys, I'll do it with signature confirmation & insurance--that way if it goes "astray" I can PROVE it got somewhere (and when they've actually signed for it, they're less likely to try the chargeback nonsense, if they know you're going to file a missing package to start a post office investigation)
