Me either, although the one that is mostly red with small amount of blue was less ugly than the one that was mostly blue with a small amount of red.

Check out this thread:

read all the way to the end - there are a lot of test beads in there.

I really like the looks of the ones covered in pale steel blue and light aquamarine blue - in the pictures. Still, not enough to get me to order any. Hold onto it Squid -- they're right -- someday it'll be hard to get and we'll all finally want it.

Ugh- I doubt it - I just think it is butt ugly.

I made a couple test beads with it. I used the Superman in a twistie with the opal pink and cased it in the light fuschia. It wasn't bad but I never took a photo with it. If you make twisties apply the glass to your base paddle by really muddling it around.

It's something that I will experiment further with - but I have so much other glass to play with first!

my sister just gave me some rods so I poked around and found another thread on it... sorry don't have the link... but it seems to be a good base color for fritted beads. I'm going to play with it sometime this week.

I like the rods that were mostly red. Nice deep streaky red. Anyone that wants to unload those pm me I didn't like the ones that had mostly lavender. But the set of plain buttons I made in the lavender sold quickly, go figure?
