Default Can someone tell me about quick connects etc?

The story is: I have two torches, a Lynx and a Minor and I would like to be able to swap them around when I want. So ignorant, lil, ole me ordered quick connects from US but I think I have the wrong ones. For a start, I got sent the regulator to hose type, when I think hose to hose would be more appropriate. I got two extra ends (O2 and fuel) which is right, but unfortunately I didn't get any pieces that will connect the hose to the ends. Australian fittings won't fit to American fittings (who thought of that little deal!) So can I get hose ends that will fit the regulator ends? And can I get hose ends that will fit the other pieces? and Where and What do I need?
The actual hoses are the same size, just not the screw threads.

If anyone can tell me what to buy and where, I would be really, really grateful

Thanks
Kym

These are common items in US.....

Go here...

http://www.mcmaster.com

Here are the "nuts" and "nipples" that are the correct fittings for hose ends (US)...

Nuts ...#7919A3 (oxygen) and #7919A4 (fuel)
Nipples ... #7919A1 ( 1/4 inch hose) OR #7919A2 (3/16 inch hose)

IF you do not have facilities to "crimp" ferruls you will need to consider clamps

You can just look on page 3301 for the parts... Also there is "lots" of "stuff" on a few pages before and after this one...

These are common "welding" supplies in U.S... So you probably need to find a US supplier that will ship down under...

Kym, have you try to contact Peter Minson?
He fixed the hose problems on my minor.
