Default What do you think of Lauscha Clear?

If you used the reformulated Lauscha Clear (501100) Frantz Art Glass wants to know if you liked it or if not what issues did you had with it.

Thanks!

I heard the new standard clear from Lauscha was reformulted and is far superior to the soft clear....be interested to see how people like it!

I can't wait to see what the results are also. As a small time vendor, I am limited to buying pretty much only what my customers want so I don't have glass sitting around collecting dust. This new reformulated clear may be the glass to use if it lives up to all the hype.

I love the reformulated Lauscha clear, no cracking issues with any of the 104 glasses, and it's beautifully clear and consistent. I bought my last batch from flamedame, I think, and even put up with getting the 11mm rods because it works so well encasing - it's been reliable and is very "user friendly".
Please tell Lauscha to make lots more.
Cheers
Mary

How about seed bubbles ? The last clear I got from them I sent back it was really bad . They used to have the best clear out there then like everything else it went down the drain. I would have to see some before I would spend the money again.

been using it for years, encase more than half of what I do using lauscha , including 96coe frits and silver mesh & foils WITHOUT CRACKING. does not like to encase over silver rich 104 coe, over use of silver/precious metals/inclusions or a few of the opalescent vetrofond odds.

I have been buying batches from different suppliers including FRANTZ for 3 years / 50-100 pounds per year. I never got a bad batch. If cracking occurred it was my fault. Operator error. Only complaint was last year I recvd a batch from you and 2 other sources that were loaded with bubbles, but current batches are super clean in the 2-12 mm ranges I just picked up.

My 2 cents, hope the feedback helped and for the love of God, please dont stop carrying the clear. ~ Starleen

I just ordered 15 pounds so I hope it is good! Got it coming with the stringer sale. thanks so much!

Can't wait to try the new lauscha. I always use lauscha and I have only had trouble with topaz and a few silver colors when using clear lauscha.
