How does the Cool Color Marine Wave react to Ivory?
Here is some news about the new upcoming Effetre Cool Colors. Many people that have seen the cool color Marine Wave say it is a lot like Pale Aqua. And it does look like it at first but when you apply it to ivory there is a big difference.
The Pale Aqua doesn’t react to Ivory
The Marine Wave does react to Ivory.

A big “Thank you” to Robin Poff for making the leaf pendants.
Our websites www.FrantzNewsletter.com or www.FrantzArtGlass.com will have the latest info on Effetre's new Cool Colors. We will post it info just as we get it. The Cool Colors are coming soon.
Thanks,
Keith

I'm curious, too. When do you think they will be available?

It will be available this week according to a post Mike made in another thread. It's already here, they're just unpacking it.
Thanks for the photo, Keith! I'd like to see the rest of the colors after they've been put to the torch, too! Can we see some more leaf samples?

Steady and Smooth
We have had some of the COOL colors for a week now. We have been unpacking and testing. The compatibility testing was done in Murano, now comes the research, is it shocky, or is it not shocky? A few were ever so slightly shocky, the rest had no shocky issues at all.
Are the colors the same throughout the production of each color? There were a few tonality changes. The color that was once known as black and white, and then changed to Tuxedo, will change again, but the numbers remain the same. Black just does not look black, more like some sweet icecream with a swirl of blueberry? There are two different looking rods, but the end product when melted is the same.
Fossil, once known as rock will now be Dark Fossil, Medium Fossil and Light Fossil. All of them are great!
Patricia has been making a bicone out of each of the new COOL colors and then a clear cased COOL color. Pat should be done on Monday, the photos should all be done on Monday, the names finalized on Monday.
So sometime next week we will release some of the COOL colors.
When I was in Murano I decided which COOL colors I thought were the coolest and sent those over by airfreight. For the colors I liked I shipped by air anywhere between 220 pounds and 660 pounds. For the colors I did not like that much I only sent 22 pounds.
The COOL colors that I did not want to send by airfreight have just left by seafreight. The COOL colors that I did send by air, some also went by sea and they too will be ready for sale in about two months.
Now there are three COOL colors that only a few people have seen, Blue Lagoon, Kiwi and Ice. They left Effetre by sea just a few days before I got to Murano and had no control over pulling some out and to send by air.
Well that seafreight should have been in Shelton on this Friday, but no, the ship was supposed to unload in Tacoma and then move on to Canada, but the ship was running out of time and decided to skip Tacoma and go directly to Canada. Normally my container whould be removed from the ship and put into a U.S. Customs hold and brought to the U.S., but NO, Canadian customs wants to inspect my glass before they give it to U.S. Customs! No snails I pray!
If all go well we should be ready to start shipping most of the opaque COOL colors by Wednesday of this coming week. If the seafreight comes in, then those three COOL colors will be available as well. If between U.S. Customs and Canadian Customs we get jerked around, well it could be another week before those colors are released.
COOL colors coming soon!
Mikey
