Default Anyone know what color this is?

It is supposed to be Agate white which I ordered and have never had before. It is a cloudy translucent color in the rod and turns a really pretty salmony pink and is fairly stiff when melted. Is this Agate white?
Thanks for any input!

That's what I would say too. Moretti Opalino Carnelian.

Thank you Suzanne and evolvingBeau. I think you are right. After looking carnelian up it looks exactly like that in rod and melted form.

looks like Carnelian to me. Love the stuff. Got tons of agate white, hate that stuff. can't ever seem to keep enough carnelian on hand. all in all I'd say a lucky accident for you. The carnelian is much more exspensive than the agate white.

Rob.

carnelian also looks totally different annealed to not annealed.....If you want to make sure a service is really batch annealing your beads throw a carnelian bead in you will tell they are annealed when they come back because it will have changed colour

It's a Moretti alabaster glass, most suppliers have it. I just saw it on JameyLynn's Howaco site.

I love carnelian, so far it's the best pink in 104 out there IMO. I encase it in clear and pulled stringers in this set

Base color on this focal is carnelian

Good morning,
Rob--Good for me but not so good for the dealer! As soon as I can locate the packing slip to figure out who I got it from, I will let them know so if they have glass labeled wrong they can check it out. I purchased it some time ago and hadn't used it until now. Agate white doesn't seem to be very popular so maybe they haven't sold a lot of it under the wrong price.

Uh-oh, sorry if it was me that sent it to you! It could be 532 the Rose Striker or the 536 Carnelian. In rod form 532 looks white. The Carnelian rod looks yellowish.

Just let me know if I'm guilty! I just might be torching the ends of a lot of rods today to see what strikes and what doesn't!

Hi JameyLynn,
No it wasn't you! I haven't received my order from you which included agate white yet. That was to replace the one that wasn't!
