Throw away your Peter tweezers as they make ALL men nervous, heck even me and I'm a chick!! Pick yourself up some Handy Andy's and you'll wonder why you even wanted or thought you needed Peter's tweezers!
I'm fortunate to own some Handy Andy's and I love them! I'm not tool ho, the least amount of tools I have the better for the voices in my head (they always argue about what to use!) This is one of the BESTEST tools I own!
Thanks Andy!

These have tungsten tips. They will not bend, even working with the hottest of glass. Also they have a tungsten rake and a tungsten shaping tool built in.

I saw these in your ad here at LE and think I must own some. I went to your site but think it came up that the ordering page is coming soon. Did I go to the wrong place?

The tweezers are stainless steel. The tips are tungsten and welded on.

I did write an article for The Flow Magazine, that was published last summer and featured the Handy Andy Tungsten Tweezers. When the website is done I will be posting instructions on there.
They are a very simple tool to use. You heat up your glass to a molten state. Then you pinch the area you want a hole. When the tweezers close you will end up with a thin veil (about as thick as a finger nail). You move your arms up and down (kind of like flapping your arms like a chicken) this will break through the veil and open the hole up. If you still have enough heat in the glass you can begin shaping your hole at that point. Also on the outside of the tweezers you get a tungsten rake and a tungsten shaping tool as well.

LOL, I like the flapping the arms like a chicken part! I think I need one of these, if for nothing else other than the excuse to flap my arms like a chicken! Can you put them up in your etsy store or should we email you thru your site?

I have a similar type of these and I burned the first pair up and was kindly given a replacement. Last night I just made my first hole with it since I got the replacement and I must squeeze way too hard but they locked together and I could hardly pull them apart! This won't do that, will it?
Anyways, this tool is on the top of my list as soon as I have the money! I can't wait to get them.

If you buy these and they stick and if YOU are not thrilled with them I WILL BUY THEM OFF YOU. Ohhhhh and just to let you know I already have a pair and LOVE them!

Thanks for the reply, there's nothing worse than getting your tools stuck inside your coffee cup bail hole .
Ok, there's many worse things, but when it is happening it is the worst thing, lol!

The Handy Andy Tungsten Tweezers should not pass each other in making a hole they are designed to stop and not lock together. Also because the tips are tungsten they will not ever burn out. The only real issue I have had with them is that tungsten is brittle. So if someone uses these to keep rhythm to their music or drops a tool directly on them, then the tungsten may break. I do keep a pair handy in my traveling tool case and have yet to have them break in travel or on my bench.
As kind as Loco is, she does not have to guaranty my tool, I do that myself. If for any reason you buy a pair of these and are not happy then return them to me for a full refund.

This all sounds perfect to me. It won't be long now before I order these. By then, they should be on your website again or your Etsy. Thanks for all the info. I appreciate it.

ok, I just figured out I have enough for these with 5 dollars to spare since you have free shipping on them if I don't buy any glass which is extremely difficult with all these wonderful sales going on, so I need to hurry up and order these before I give in to all these Memorial day sales, lol! I suppose if I get way too tempted there is always the credit card!

Ohhhhhhh I wasn't guaranteeing your tool! I was thinking that if she didn't like um, I'd have a spare pair! You see my work bench gets a tad messy and things get lost. Luckily for me Pam uses my Handy Andy's a lot so I can always find them on her side...

I will have them on Etsy by weeks end. However to get the free shipping offer you will need to get them through here by emailing me or sending a payment to Andy@GalacticGlass.net on PayPal of $45. If you live in Arizona please add 8% sales tax as well.
